FLAG is an acronym for Federal Land Managers and Air Quality Related Values Work Group. FLAG is comprised of the National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS).
FLAG was formed to promote a more consistent means by which Federal Land Managers could assess the effects air pollution is having on their resources.
The goals of FLAG have been to develop consistent policies and procedures for identifying air quality related values (AQRV's), and the impacts of air pollution on them.
