Fire Emission Production Simulator (FEPS)

The Fire Emissions Production Simulator (FEPS) is a software program which predicts heat released and hourly emissions of CO, CH4 and PM 2.5 during a prescribed or wild fire. Users can run FEPS with relatively little data by using default data and calculations, or by inputting data.

The latest version of FEPS, 1.1, contains fuels data from FCCS, and allows the user to import data from Consume and the First Order Fire Effects Model.
